Silver is an Afro-Indigenous, Non-binary, Queer DEI Training Facilitator, Speaker and Consultant. Utilizing an intersectional framework, Silver is on a mission to co-create equitable, holistic and innovative solutions to oppression.
They have been featured via National Geographic, Willamette Week and Oregon Public Broadcasting for their contributions in the Movement for Black Lives. Silver is recognized as a visionary, educator and expert at the intersections of race and queer liberation.
They have 10+ years of experience in DEI training, policy engagement, and community organizing. Silver has facilitated Transgender Trainings for the Oregon Employment Department, led workshops with the National LGBTQ Taskforce, designed curriculum for the Oregon Students of Color Conference and much more.
