Disability Justice & Access Art

The fourth session in the Navigating the Intersections series, Disability Justice and Access Art is for all people who have interest in learning more about Disability Justice and access directly from the perspectives of Disabled people. We will be talking about the social model of disability, a brief history of disability rights and Disability Justice, as well as a framework developed through community dialogues called Question Access.

To request accommodations, email rebelsidneyblack@gmail.com as far in advance as possible. ASL will be provided on request. If you use a screen reader and need the chat disabled, let Rebel know at the email above. This training will be provided via Zoom. All content on screen will be read aloud.

Together, Rebel and Deanna have collaborated under Leaping Water Consulting to provide services to Philanthropy Northwest, Subduction Consulting, New Avenues for Youth’s Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center’s Peer-Led Disability Justice Group, Pentacle, Brown Girl Rise, and L'Arche (Portland, Tahoma Hope, North Carolina, and USA national).
